Acupuncture

Acupuncture is part of traditional Chinese medicine and involves the insertion of very thin needles through skin at strategic points on your body. Acupuncture is most commonly used to treat chronic pain, nerve issues including paralysis rehabilitation. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management. Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force known as chi or qi in China & Japan or prana in India believed to flow through specific pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance and your health is restored. In contrast, many practitioners view the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. Some believe that this stimulation boosts your body's natural painkillers. Strong evidence based acupuncture suggests a good efficacy of the treatment.

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a form of complementary or alternative system of medicine concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system with main focus on spine adjustment. Sujok

Sujok is a Korean word meaning hands (su) and feet (jok) and sujok acupressure refers to acupressure using acu points on the hands and the feet. With the help of Sujok, it is possible to practice Acupressure solely on the hands & foot. Sujok was developed by South Korean Prof Park Jae Woo. Sujok is based on the principle of correspondence which says that there are many similarities in hands & feet to our body structure. The thumb corresponds to head, neck & below the thumb is chest. Our index finger & little finger corresponds to arms & both the middle fingers correspond to legs. There are large number of controlling acupoints or byol points of our body which have been projected on hand & feet. Applying pressure on hands & feet cures the disease of the corresponding organ. Other complementary medicine therapies

Acupressure

Acupressure comes under complementary medicine is also part of Chinese and Indian way of treating various diseases .It is safe and gentle pressure therapy used to relieve primarily chronic pain symptoms and body relaxation. This therapy does not involve the use of any invasive techniques skilled practitioner known as acupressure therapist simply uses thumbs, fingers or elbow and exert pressure to specific acupressure points over the body to get pain and other conditions. Sometimes jimmy is also used to exert pressure.

Acupressure cure diseases by restoring the imbalance of energy flow in the human body also called Chi imbalance.

As per the basic principle of the therapy, energy is constantly flowing in the human body along defined pathways known as meridians.

A disease occurs if this energy flow becomes excess or deficient, and an imbalance is created which causes disease. Acupressure help by correcting the balance by restoring the chi flow into the meridians and the problem is cured.

Reiki Healing

Reiki is basically a Japanese word and if we break it into two, Rei and Ki, Rei means Universal and Ki means energy. This energy is also known as Qi, Chi, Prana or life force energy in other traditions. So Reiki means Universal Energy, the vital force that fills the whole Universe. Reiki is quite ancient as ancient as the Universe. Dr Mikao Usui of Japan, worked to shape various stages of Reiki learning and the process of Reiki healing you can use to heal yourself, your family and the whole world.

Moxibustion

 

Moxibustion  is also a part of Traditional Chinese medicine like acupuncture for more than 5,000 years for therapeutic modalities. This system is still being used as primary health care system in east Asia & also being used as part of the complementary medicine in other parts of the world including USA & Europe.  Moxibustion is similar to acupuncture & acupressure regarding stimulation of acu-points on the meridians. Moxibustion uses thermal stimulants by burning herbs like mugwort. Moxibustion is little different from acupuncture in the sense that acupuncture makes body release heat or eliminate pathogens while moxibustion makes body warm & restores chi. Moxibustion boosts immune system & is also used for many other conditions.
