Cinnamon (Cinnamomum) is used as a spice for thousands of years, cinnamon comes from the bark of various species of cinnamon trees. In Indian traditional medicine, it is known as Dal chini and is used for many abnormalities and immunity. An extract of Cinnamon,

Studies done in Israel o cancer found that cinnamaldehyde could block the expression of certain proteins involved in cancer growth. Cinnamaldehyde, one of the main active components of cinnamon, may be beneficial against various kinds of infection including bacterial, viral, fungal and yeast infections.

For best results, be sure to opt for Ceylon cinnamon or stick to small doses if you’re using the Cassia variety. You can use cinnamon powder in small quantities in making herbal tea, food items, or with warm water.
