Black pepper (Piper nigrum)

Black pepper is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, known as a peppercorn, which is usually dried and used as a spice and as herbal medicine. 

Considered as the “King of spices”, black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) is a widely used spice in the world and forms a very importance part of traditional Indian medicine as well as Indian Kitchen.
